Only cca 40 minutes drive from Prague there is the museum of worldknown car mark Skoda in Mlada Boleslav.Under the trade mark Škoda the cars are produced more than 100 years! Only four cars in the whole world can be proud of that long and uninterrapted tradition. Škoda is one of them.
Exposition: Škoda Car Museum has prepared for you three exhibitions with multimedia support. Also for your children there is prepared many new contests and games in the children´s corner. Let yourself to be draw in three interesting stories....
100 years of the company: Story about the production of cars in Mlada Boleslav from the beginning in 1895 till the latests models. New exposition "Sleeping beauty" will introduce cars waiting for renewal.Gallery of motors: This is a heart matter because the motor is the hearf of each car and according the sound/heartbeat of the motor attentive ear would know what the car is missing.

Not far off Prague (cca 40 minutes drive) in Netvorice there is the unique museum of motorcycles. At present it is possible to see altogether about 200 motorcycles and other exhibits in both museums. The
A visitor coming to either of the Museums acquires automatically the right to a 50% discount from the entrance fee to be paid in the other Museum.
The Museum of Netvorice is focused, besides the motorcycles (about 120 motorbikes), also on cars, tricycles, wheelchairs, side-car motorcycles, special stable engines, current production of the JAWA brand, historical tractors and matters of interest of the history of technologies).
The Museum of Konopiste is mainly focused on a representative presentation of the JAWA brand, both from the viewpoint of exhibits and in terms of historical materials (English, Czech and German video presentations through a large-area projection). Another key topic of the Museum is formed by the historical documentation of successful racing results of Czech motorcycle brands in the 20th century (unique exhibits, trophies, historical documents).
And when you will be visiting Konopiste you can also visit the unique hunting chateau Konopiste where you can see beautiful rooms with admirable furniture, pictures, pottery and especially with the unique collection of hunting trophies.

MUSEUM OF SPORTS MODELS IN LÁNY
Museum of sports models in Lány has been opened for the public since 1997. In this museum you can see several tens of unique sports and racing cars and you can also learn more about the history and pesent of automobile sport. All exposed cars are fully serviceable. You can also try the drive-simulater if you like to try to drive the racing car. Taking photos is allowed in the museum for a contribution to The children traffic foundation.
In Lany you can also find the baroque castle Lany that is the official summer seat of the presidents of the Czech Republic. The castle itself is unapproachable by public but you can visit admirable park. On the local cemetary is disposed the body of the first Czechoslovak president T.G.Masaryk.
If we say the word Tatra - Koprivnice - almost every interested person in the automobile sport recollect Ralley Pariz-Dakar and the name of our racer Karel Loprais.
TATRA MUSEUM - KOPŘIVNICE.The most compact collection dedicated to the documentation of historical progress of the company has its place also in Kopřivnice. In the representative premises comes along the fascinating rebound of periods in which the Koprivnice motor car company has managed using the frontiers methods to be on the top of technical progress of self-proppeled motor vehicles.
The exhibited cars and also its parts (including unique ventilated motors) permit to perceive periodly unconventinal ideas that had became a principle of local designers. The exposition is completed by 7 audiovisual boxes which offfers complete additional information in the form of videosections. Rehearsel of exponats is closed by the biggest of them, representative of Tatra´s railway production, fast rail waggon which is also known under the name "Slovak shot". The total museum area including the renovation work-rooms is 4.921 m2.
Private collection of cca 100 historical motorcycles, sidecars, automobiles and other technical interesting things. The museum specialize mainly in the Jawa marque. Renovation work-room, stock market and auction-sale of historical vehicles and replacement parts. There is also stylish restaurant available for the visitors.
Museum of historical motorcycles in Kašparské Hory.
This museum of historical motorcycles is the largest private exposition of its kind in the Czech Republic. Nowadays the collection includes 70 pieces of historical motorcycles, some of them are single copies. The marks that are represented here are JAWA, ČZ, INDIAN, ARIEL, BSA, FN and many other world marks. The number of the exhibited exhibits is still increasing. The exposition is still extending and has been replenished with historical bicycles. Some of the exhibits are real world uniques which are extanted only in one piece (JAC,WAGNER) and some of them are the only ones in the Czech Republic. In the area of this museum is also brewery exposition of historical beer bottles. It is the biggest collection of these bottles in the Czech Republic.
