Visit the brewery U Fleků, taste the delicious beer!


 

Worldfamous brewery U Fleků is the oldest brewery in Prague that had been founded more than 500 years ago.

The restaurant takes pride in its own brewery, especially the historic brewing house from the beginning of the century, the stacked cooling vats and the fermentors in the fermentation cellar made, according to old specifications, of oak wood. The brewery received its present look during the 1986 reconstruction that resulted in a modern, but unique historic brewery.

In 1999, to celebrate the 500th anniversary of beer production in the Brewery “U Fleků”, the brewery museum was newly opened in the former malt house building. The renovated exhibition area is home to samples of brewery machinery, tools and tanks. The museum also shows the old history of beer production in Prague. The most interesting part of the museum is a Renaissance room where malt used to be dried by means of hot smoke from burning wood. The museum perfectly matches the romantic setting of the Brewery “U Fleků” and thus enhances its unique atmosphere.

The brewery excursion is possible in German and Russian language. In case of your interest in any other foreing language we can arrange for you private licensed guide.
 
The excursion to the brewery is possible only after previous order. Maximum number of visitors in group is 35.
 
Monday- Friday   10:00 - 15:00, the tour is NOT conditioned by dining in the restaurant.

Monday-Friday  after 16:00, Saturday, Sunday and holidays  (reservations required) the tour is conditioned by dining in the restaurant.
The brewery excursion includes: brewery tour, short film, beer tasting, souvenir.
