From April 2005 there is newly opened "House of Beer". In historical premises of former malt house of brewery "U Medvídků" originated museum of beer which is connected with brewery shop (the largest specialized shop in beer and brewery souvenirs that will enable the visitors to buy original souvenirs) and period mini brewery.

Excursion of brewery, brewery museum and brewery shop. The brewer, who speaks Czech, English and Japanese, will show you round the brewery and museum. In case that you require commentary in another language we will arrange for you private guide. The brewery excursion is conditioned by dining in the restaurant.

Folklore Evening: the programme with live music and two dancing couples that will show, on the scene, an example of the Czech dances of that time. After the end of the programme the guests have the possibility to dance on the dance floor. The price includes consumation in the form of offered menu, unlimited consumation of beer, wine or non-alcoholic drinks, the programme. Program can be arranged for groups of more than 40 people, maximum capacity is 80 places (without the possibility of the dance floor it is for max. 100 people).

Cabaret: the programme of songs and dances from the old Prague, completed by the performance of a magician and a competition for the spectators. The price includes the programme, the menu as for the Folklore Evening, the seeing of the mini-brewery connected with the tasting with unlimited consumption of beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. It is possible to organize the programme for groups over 60 persons. It is necessary to order 30 days in advance.

				The history of the restaurant " U Medvídků" dates back to 1466. In the past century the original brewery was converted into the first Prague cabaret and also into one of the biggest beerhall in Prague. Several generations of Czech people and also a lot of foreigners are visiting this restaurant for its very good Czech cuisine and for famous Czech beer - Budweiser. Because of its location in the historical centre of Prague its convenient to visit the beerhall in connection with a sightseeing tour of the Old Town or with a visit of some nearby theatres (Laterna Magica).
