Visit the Brewery NOVOMESTSKY ( New Town Brewery ) located in the Prague center
Introducing a unique culinary experience located right in the centre of
Prague, about 400 m away from Wenceslas Square - the first New Town
Restaurant Brewery, founded in 1993.
The establishment of today's brewery restaurant in 1993 picked up on an old
long-forgotten and discontinued tradition from the 14th century. The great
idea of combining the mini-brewery with a restaurant in a single unit gave
rise to a unique complex with efficiently interconnected cellars and
surface-level space.
The excursion of the brewery is possible only after previous booking. During
lunch time
the tour is conditioned by dining in the restaurant.
The groups consist of usually cca 20 persons. During the excursion you will
visit the brewhouse, fermentation cellar and storage cellar. In each of
these parts the visitors will get acquainted with the production procedure
of beer production.
After the tour ends you can use the hospitality of the restaurant.
The New Town Brewery specializes in traditional Czech cuisine - offering classic specialities such as tripe soup, sharp garlic soup, sirloin, brewery goulash, roast knee of pork served with horseradish and mustard, and roast piglet.
Health-food enthusiasts will also find dishes here to suit their taste: a large selection of vegetable salads, vegetarian meals, and fish. The menu is large enough for everyone to pick something to their fancy.
