The Staropramen brewery has been founded already in the second half of the
19th century when on the left corner of the Vltava River complex of brewery buildings started to be built. This complex is there up to this day.

Nowadays Staropramen is the second biggest producer of beer in the Czech
republic with more than 14% share on the home market and one of the most important Czech exporters of beer. Staropramen brewery exports beer to over 30 countries of the world.

Visit Staropramen brewery and get to know Czech national drink BEER and all what is related to it!

Learn about the history and the present of the renowned Smichov brewery which is
connected with beer tasting.

The excursion lasts 60 minutes including beer tasting.

At first you will see video about the production of beer which lasts cca 10 minutes. Then you will view the history part of the brewery followed by presentation of the contemporary production of beer. You will also see the fermentation cellar and the lager cellar. At the end of the tour you will taste cooled beer.
The tours take place daily - prior arrangement is necessary. The guides speak Czech, German, English and French. Moreover there is the possibility of viodeoprojection in Russian, Italian, Spanish and Danish.

And when you would be hungry you could taste specialities of Czech cuisine in the Staropramen restaurant.
